» Payment & Refunds
Preferred form of payment is PayPal (payment address: jennrodriguez@gmail.com), but other forms such as money order or Western Union will be considered. A Full Refund/Cancellation can be requested during the sketch approval phase only (exceptions apply, see General Rules and Agreement). If a Refund is requested after the completion of the commission, you will only receive partial (half).

WHEN PAYING THROUGH PAYPAL: Please provide your NAME, EMAIL, COMMISSION TYPE, and WHAT WEBSITE YOU CONTACTED ME THOUGH AS WELL AS YOUR ALIAS FROM THAT SITE.

» Shipment
Currently due to transportation constraints, Larger Commissions are mailed out on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, depending on Artist's ability to get to a Post Office. Small Works like tags and some badges may be mailed out sooner. All Works are mailed out First-Class. All Traditional commissions have shipping charges included if mailed within the USA, with the exception of Sketches. Other shipping methods, insurance, and tracking available at Commissioner's expense.

» General Rules and Agreement
Commissioner retains all rights of Original Characters and Concepts. Commissioner agrees to payment schedules involved with the specific commission type. Artist retains rights to exhibit works in personal or promotional venues (personal website, portfolios, etc) whether digital, printed, and original, as well as all applicable rights to the artwork as stated under Copyright Law. Commissioner is free to exhibit art and use in self representation (LiveJournal icons, etc) with credit to Artist. Commissioned work for Personal Use only. Works are not to be reproduced en mass or used for profit. Please contact Artist for information involving Commercial Art. Artist will do Commissions featuring Adult Content on a case by case basis. Artist agrees to complete Commission in a "reasonable amount of time" from date of Payment and/or by an agreed upon deadline, on penalty of full refund. Commissioner reserves the right to see longer and involved works in progress (upon request) to ensure a satisfactory job. Artist reserves the right to refuse Commissions for any reason. Prices on this page are subject to change at any time. Prices on this page are usual, but actual cost may vary depending on the size of the project, the time invested, and the amount of revisions.

» Icons - $10
Digital. Commissioner will receive icon of choice sizes (default 100 x 100 pixels. Let me know if you wan't alternative sizes) and a larger web format of image for personal collection. Commissioner pays PayPal in full upon agreed arraignment.

» Tags - $10
Shipping tags, Traditional media. 4 ^3/4 x 2 ^3/8 inches. Commissioner will receive original tag with string mailed first class. International commissioners will pay additional postage. Commissioner pays PayPal in full upon agreed arraignment.

» Badges (Large) - $35
Traditional media. 4x6. No badge covers, lamination, or lanyards at this time. Commissioner will receive original art. Commissioner pays PayPal in full upon agreed arraignment. No additional postage needed within the US for Traditional Badges.

» Badges (Small) - $25
Digital or Traditional media. 3x4. No badge covers, lamination, or lanyards at this time. Commissioner will receive original art (traditional) or print quality file (digital). Commissioner pays PayPal in full upon agreed arraignment. No additional postage needed within the US for Traditional Badges.

» Sketches (Full Body)- $30
Digital or Traditional media (pen, pencil, etc). Well developed, monochromatic, full value range, or line art. Final price determined by complexity, number of figures, etc. Commissioner will receive print quality files, but will have to pay additional shipping ($3) to be mailed original (Traditional media only). Commissioner pays PayPal in full upon agreed arraignment.

» Sketches (Bust)- $15
Digital or Traditional media (pen, pencil, etc). Well developed, monochromatic, full value range, or line art. Commissioner will receive print quality files, but will have to pay additional shipping ($3) to be mailed original (Traditional media only). Commissioner pays PayPal in full upon agreed arraignment.

» Bust - $35
Digital Media. Full color, simple background. Commissioner receives print quality file (300dpi, printable on home computer, actual dimensions vary). Commissioner pays PayPal in full upon agreed arraignment.

» Character Pin-ups - $50
Traditional media (pen, pencil, colored pencil, etc) or Digital. Flat rate for single character, full color, and no background. If Traditional, Original mailed to Commissioner. If Digital, print quality 8.5x11" 300dpi version will be available for download. Commissioner can pay 50% up front and 50% at approval of sketch, or in full upon request approval.

» Character Sheets - $80+
Digital, flat color, large web-ready graphic. Two full body poses and three head shots, plus whatever text you want included. Additional items, head/body poses can be added at cost. Commissioner receives large web-only file. Commissioner pays PayPal in full upon agreed arraignment.

» Tattoos - Varies
Digital or Traditional media. Tattoo Commission prices are based on sketch/full Commission prices and are not differentiated from regular commissions (Artist will not charge more for use as a tattoo). Prices based on complexity, color, size, etc. Same stipulations and agreements apply. Tattoo is not intended for multiple uses, and is meant as an original design for Commissioner, not to be resold or reused as "flash".

» Do you do commercial work? What are the prices?
Yes, I do commercial work such as logos, illustrations, graphic design, web design, etc. Commissioned work of this kind has an entirely different set of prices and stipulations. Commercial commissions allow you to pay for certain rights, such as the right to reproduce the work or to indirectly profit from it. Examples of this are sticker designs, CD covers, and other promotional material. Please contact me to find out more about those services.

» Can I use existing art as a tattoo?
Maybe. Please contact me with the specific piece you are thinking of using. I do not permit the use of commissioned works (unless it is your own) or much of my personal character based art to be used in tattoos, so please check first. I usually do not charge for use of my art in tattoos but it's good karma to leave a tip. However, if you're really interested in having my art on your skin, commissioning me is a great option too.

» How long does it take you to finish a commission?
Anywhere from a few minutes (yes a few minutes) to a few weeks. It really depends. I try to work efficiently and keep Commissioner updated on progress or delays, but unless we have agreed on a schedule or a deadline ahead of time, there is no set way to predict how long a piece will take. Small products usually take less than a week. Large products could take a month or longer.

» Can I use your art for free? I need it for (insert need here).
The short answer is no. I prefer my art not be reposted, printed or reproduced in anyway, unless it's been specified to a commissioner that they can. You can always contact me to make sure, but more often than not I will say no. If you want to use my art for something, you can always commission custom work.
